Terms and Conditions of Munro’s Business Academy
Munro’s Business Academy (“the Academy”) is a service offering of Munro’s, legally operating under Donald F Munro & Associates Pty Ltd as trustee for Donald F Munro & Associates Unit Trust (ABN 85 012 245 900) (“Munro’s”). By accessing the Academy, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
1. Acceptance of Terms
- Your access to and use of the Academy is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.
- All members, clients, users, visitors and others (“Users”) who access and/or use the Academy implicitly agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, in whole or in part, do not access or use the Academy.
2. Services Description and Content
- The Academy provides content via articles, courses, videos, events, programmes and other media (“Content”) for current and prospective Australian business owners, leaders and their team members for the purpose of business enhancement.
- The Academy takes an evidence-based approach and where possible all reasonable effort is applied to be consistent with this approach.
- Content is prepared and provided by Munro’s and/or third-party providers (“Resource Providers”).
- Some Content is available without a login, while other Content requires a free or paid membership or one-off payment.
3. Intellectual Property
- The Academy and its Content, features and functionality are owned by Munro’s, unless already owned by Resource Providers, and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
- Resource Providers retain rights over their Content.
- Munro’s Business Academy respects intellectual property rights and addresses copyright infringement claims seriously. If you believe that Content within the Academy infringes upon your copyright, please send a written notice to ExperienceSuccess@munros.com.au using the subject “Copyright Infringement in Munro’s Business Academy”, detailing the alleged infringement and including your contact information.
4. User Conduct and Responsibilities
- Users must uphold and maintain professional and ethical conduct when using the Academy including, but not limited to, when interacting with other Users, Munro’s employees and contractors, and Resource Providers including their employees and contractors.
- You agree to use the Academy in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and in a manner that does not infringe on the rights of other Users or restrict or inhibit their use and enjoyment of the Academy.
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and are liable for all activities under their account.
- Users are responsible for providing accurate and complete account information, including during sign up and on a continuing basis.
5. Third-Party Content and Links
- The Academy may contain links to third-party services or feature Content from Resource Providers. Munro’s is not responsible for any third-party Content whatsoever and assumes no responsibility or liability whatsoever for such Content and use by you and other Users.
- Users who access third-party services or Content from Resource Providers are wholly responsible for abiding by the terms and conditions of Resource Providers.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
- Munro’s does not guarantee business success or specific results from using the Academy.
- The Academy is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. Munro’s makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness or reliability of any Content provided, especially Resource Providers’ Content.
- Any reliance on the Content is at your own risk.
- Munro’s recommends that Users who contemplate taking any action based on Content seriously consider consulting with, and where appropriate do consult with, a professional business advisor before taking any action.

7. Privacy and Other Compliance
- Munro’s adheres to all Australian laws including privacy laws.
- Munro’s Privacy Policy published and amended from time to time at https://www.munros.com.au/privacy-policy forms part of these terms.
- Munro’s implements reasonable security protocols given the nature of the Academy and the resources available to a business of its size.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Liability is limited as per applicable laws and by a scheme approved under Professional Standards Legislation.
- Munro’s, including its directors, employees and agents, will not be liable for any liability of any kind whatsoever, including liability by reason of negligence, arising from your use or any other Users use of the Academy or its Content when not receiving direct advice from Munro’s.
- Munro’s will not be liable for any liability of any kind whatsoever in cases of data breaches or unauthorised access to user information provided that Munro’s has adhered to reasonable security protocols.
9. Payments and Refunds
- For any paid services, payments will be processed using Stripe. We accept payment using Mastercard, VISA and AMEX.
- Refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
11. Amendments to Terms
- Munro’s reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time at its discretion and without direct communication to Users, unless required by law.
- Continued use of the Academy after any amendments constitutes your consent to such changes.
12. Termination
- Munro’s reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Academy for any breach of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
- These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Western Australia.

15. Entire Agreement
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Munro’s regarding the Academy, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
