George joined Munro’s as a graduate accountant working in Michael Beer’s team in July 2017, before becoming a manager in January 2022.
Born in Scotland, George emigrated to Perth as a child where he completed his schooling and graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce. He became a Chartered Accountant in September 2020, completing the course after ranking in the top 5% of candidates for all four technical modules, including achieving the top mark in WA for one.
In his journey with Munro’s he has been exposed to a wide range of clients, gaining knowledge in areas such as superannuation, business structuring, Division 7A, and capital gains tax along the way. He has a strong attention to detail and is dedicated to delivering a high standard of service on every task to ensure positive outcomes for our clients.
In his spare time George is an avid soccer player and fan, and has a keen interest in music.

- Top 2% ranked Australian Accounting Firm is based on two separate Munro’s assessments of Google reviews for Australian based accounting firms on 9-10 August 2023 and 1 December 2023.
- Both assessments found Munro’s to be in the Top 2% (position 66 out of 4,235 and position 44 out of 4,301 for the assessments, respectively) when a ranking was derived from a comparison of the total of each accounting firm’s overall star rating multiplied by each firm’s quantity of reviews as shown on Google Maps.
- If the assessment was to be conducted today, then it is likely that Munro’s ranking would have changed – Munro’s may or may not be in the Top 2% today.

In December 2023, we conducted a review of Australian accounting firms on Google Maps, based on star rating and quantity of reviews.
Out of the 4,301 Australian accounting firms we identified on Google, Munro’s ranked number 44, placing us in the Top 2% of Australian Accounting Firms.
